Julia has extensive court experience as a Solicitor and Counsel and is regularly appointed by the Court as an Independent Children's Lawyer in extremely complex parenting disputes. As if that is not impressive enough, not only does she head our Family Law team, she was Chair of the Family Law Practitioners Association (Tas), a former Commissioner for the Legal Aid Commission of Tasmania which provides legal assistance to struggling Tasmanians and Vice President of The Law Society of Tasmania.
