Experience
As the newest member of the Bishops Family Law team, Aqiella graduated from the University of Tasmania with a Bachelor of Laws in 2023.
Aqiella has a passion for assisting youth and children and will be predominantly taking on parenting matters. While at University, Aqiella interned at Youth Law Australia (YLA) with supervision from senior practitioners where she provided pro-bono legal advice to young adults as well as being a volunteer on the advisory board at the Youth Network of Tasmania (YNOT). Aqiella has also volunteered on a part-time basis at the Coroners Court in Hobart.
Aqiella is passionate about making a difference in a client’s life. Aqiella has strong communication skills and an empathetic approach, to implement the best legal outcome for clients.
Outside of her work, Aqiella enjoys reading great works of literature and art, discovering new hobbies such as pottery making and is also the secretary of the University car club.
